Understanding your attachment style promotes personal growth & relational wellbeing
We are relational beings. We are wired for connection. It can foster our growth and security, and also evoke many of our fears, worries, insecurities, and a whole slew of emotions and behaviours that we don’t always understand (or even see), until we do .
Oftentimes, we aren’t consciously aware of our relational patterning that formed at a young age. When you come to understand how your attachment style shapes you as an adult, your relational ways of being and feeling suddenly makes more sense. This knowledge becomes your ticket to self growth, empowerment, and strengthening trust and security in your relationships, in all areas of your life.

Have you ever wondered why certain work relationships send you into an anxious or avoidant state, maybe you people please more, or fear a coworker’s disapproval or rejection. Or why intimacy in your romantic relationships can be fear inducing and feel destabilizing? What felt like a ‘trigger’ may be your attachment style revealing itself.
From infancy onward, our attachment patterns form as a way to get our needs met. The good news is at any stage in our lives we can learn how to shift our attachment style, become aware of our needs and learn how to communicate them, building secure attachments with the people we love and work with.
